Women's Ministries

"A Woman's High Calling" Theme for 2010

The First Baptist Women's Ministry is a very active organization of the church. Our ladies meet monthly for business meetings where they plan the projects and missions they support. Programs supported during the 2009 year included Appalachian Outreach, Wheeling YWCA, Weirton Christian Center, Wheeling Meals on Wheels program, College Student Valentine Project, and three missionary families from West Virginia who serve on the International level. The women enjoy fun outings, workshops, organizing an annual Sunday worship service to emphasize the supported missions programs, enjoy special meals together, and our participation in the Wheeling Church Women United. The Officers serving the 2010 year are;

Carol Couch, Treasurer Debbie Smith, Missions Carol Hartong, Prayer and Devotions

All women of the church are invited and encouraged to attend and participate in our meetings and activities.
