First Baptist Women's Ministries 2012

The First Baptist Women's Ministry is a very active organization of the church.  Our ladies meet monthly for business meetings where they plan the projects and missions they support.  Programs supported during the 2011 year included Wheeling Area Church Women United,  Support of Missionary - Crystal Beugel, Transportation Pledges to Weirton Christian Center, Support of W.V.B.C. Missionaries to Bolivia, Augusta Levy Learning Center Supplies, Soup Kitchen Can drive, Boatsie's Boxes, Purses for Wheeling Y.W.C.A., Mitten Christmas Tree, Christmas Gift for needy Children, and a Veteran's Day Sunday Recognition and Reception.

 

The women enjoy fun outings, workshops, organizing an annual Sunday worship service to emphasize the supported missions programs, enjoy special meals together, and  our participation in the Wheeling Church Women United.  The Officers serving the 2012 year are;

Debbie Smith, Missions                  Carol Hartong, Devotionals     

 

All women of the church are invited and encouraged to attend and participate in our meetings and activities.
